This stool is one of a kind both in design and engineering. It is made from special kraft paper, but don’t worry about the rigidity. It holds 600kg (1320lbs), thanks to the honeycomb structure. It folds to a size of a large folder and extends to a stool of 42cm (16.5in) high, 36cm (14in) in diameter. The chair comes with a cushion. There are rush, leather, or felt to choose from. I wish it had two or three ribbons to tie closed. It’s hard to fan it open and I had to work using my legs to hold it so while tying the one ribbon. I put clothespins down the seam to hold it while it’s relaxing into the open state. They are lovely.They’re on rugs so to help with movement, I’m lifting them onto 7$ Home Depot lazy susan’s, and then putting them on wheels to roll. It will lift them as they were a little low for the table for eating. I have a tiny cottage where space is limited so they work well. And they’re very sturdy. A good conversation piece.

Its cute if you can actually get it to work. Its really difficult to stretch into position and the tie is not sufficient enough to hold the position of the chair after you are able to stretch it. If anything touches it it dents in. I though it would be a little more functional.

Looks just pictured. I was originally hoping this would be a great set up to pull out for setting up my projector on movie nights รข it was unfortunately a little too short, but it makes a great little side table next to my bed for my circle lamp! It’s sturdy and can hold a whole human too! I recommend
